Enter The Green Man

I am thrilled to announce that I will now be sharing a great deal of content on my work with the primordial plant deity known colloquially as The Green Man- beginning with a new YouTube channel dedicated solely to content about him. While I’ve been able to pepper in bits about The Green Man and my work with him on The Green Arte, in my books, and in posts, I’ve been called in to create a space that’s more dedicated to him. I know that not all folks who engage with me will want to learn about him, so this offers me a way to share without complicating the current schedule of classes and videos on The Green Arte.

My plan, moving forward, is to do weekly free community classes on the new channel in the same way I do for this one. I think they’ll all continue to post on Fridays- a sacred day in my cultic work. I will also be doing blog posts, guided meditations, rituals, and more via a website in the works.

I’ve been working casually with The Green Man for many years now, and over the last several years have engaged in an initiatory relationship of priesthood and practice with him. He is a primordial deity- one of the truly old gods. Made famous in modern Paganism, but rooted in the timeless past. The Green Man’s form is one of both human and plant expression- through this poetic embodiment he shows us that he is of the world of human and plant alike; and that he is a go-between, gatekeeper, and path-protector of this ancient tracks.

By connecting to and working with The Green Man, folks on the plant spirit path will find that he helps nourish their link to the green realm and supports them in working toward dual citizenship between this world and the other. As repository of ll verdant wisdom, he can guide us into relationship with the plants in ways that may not have happened on our own. He is at one wild, hot, and unpredictable and fiercely protective, kind, and empowering.
